Licensed Master Social Worker

Will conduct preadmission screening, assessment and initial recovery plan for participants and also conduct groups. Will assist in training and coaching staff as well as assisting in managing the department.  Will  participate in meetings as required.

Qualifications:   License in Social Work with 3 or more years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.

Capacity to work with data collection software, excellent general computer skills and an understanding of the population being served and their needs, and services to accommodate those needs.

Strong in person centered skills, motivational interviewing and engagement.

PROPERTY MANAGER

MHA is seeking a full time or part time employee to be the property manager for our 253 Mansion Street location.  We are looking for someone with basic skills in plumbing, electrical and carpentry.  Would also be responsible for fall cleanup, mowing, snow removal and all upkeep of the building.  Will be required to spend some time at our Beacon site to assure that the property is kept current.

SUPPORTIVE CARE MANAGER

Applicants must have the capacity to work closely within a team setting with clients, to assist in problem solving and daily living activities, assess service needs, liaison with the community agencies and coordinate treatment and provide advocacy.  Strong written and verbal communications skills a must.  Must have a valid driver’s license.

QUALIFICATIONS:  LPN preferred or Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Services field with experience in a setting with clients who suffer from mental illness.

Program Assistant/Driver
Young Adult Transitions Program

Part Time 17.5 Hrs/wk

Duties: The Program Assistant/Driver will assist in the operation of a pilot Young Adult Transitions Program, for young adults 18-25 who have mental illness. The Assistant will help organize and operate the weekly skills curriculum meetings, provide transportation for participants who need it (using agency vehicles), and will assist the program leader in the general operations of the program. A clean criminal record and valid driver’s license (with clean record) is required.

Qualifications: Required: High School diploma or GED; some college preferred.
Preferred: Education and/or experience with services for persons with mental health issues, specifically adolescents or young adults.
Reliable and flexible.

Respite Worker
Part Time

Duties:

Respite Workers provide quality individual respite and skill building for children with social, emotional and behavioral disabilities.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.  Knowledge of recreational activities and child development preferred.  Experience working with families with children with social, emotional and behavioral disabilities preferred.  Self starting, motivated individual able to work flexible hours.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.  Clean criminal and driving records required.  Must have three year’s driving experience with own license.
